In season one of whale wars, the caption claims to have been shot. On his website, he says ';It was a bullet that came from a few hundred yards away so it had lost considerable force by the time it struck me';. I would like to know what type of gun it would take to hit a torso sized target at ';a few hundred yards'; (300+) from one boat to another, both traveling at full speed and bobbing up and down. Also, what type of training would it take to pick out a person at this distance and effectively hit him? Also, for a separate answer, lets say this was a perfect bullet in perfect conditions traveling perfectly strait.
